Looser comments

Why is it that some men are such loosers? I say men because I have never gotten a comment like the following from a woman:
"Nice Tits"

What the hell is that supposed to mean? I mean really, if you're thinking that in your head, what part of your brain tells you you need to write that in a comment? Some of my models watch my work and I doubt that you'd say that to them if you met them in person. Grow the fuck up!

My art is not about that, so if you're looking for that go somewhere else.

From now on, anyone who makes a comment like that will not be making any more comments on my images.

Damn...what's the matter with people?

I agree with you completely. I have photographs hanging all over my house and I get irritated when someone either asks me who the model is (to see if they know her) or makes some sort of Beavis and Butthead comment about the model's body.

The human form is beautiful and I am glad that there are many artists who understand that and try to capture that beauty.

Besides, the commentary on this website is supposed to help you get feedback on your work and try to improve or grow. Comments like "nice tits" are not constructive and certainly not in the spirit of this community.

It is a shame that some men (or immature boys) make comments like that. DA should really ban people like that entirely.

I have about a half dozen of these dweebs blocked, I am guessing that in _their_ mind this is a compliment. To me it ranks right up there with cat calls on a street corner only less polite. My wish is they forever remain frustrated!

unfortunately I think most of it stems from just how prudish society is here in North America. Nudity is a thing to be avoided by so many people. Nudity is given a sexual context by default where 90% of parents are concerned.

This means when we grow up, we see nudity, we think sex, and it triggers a sexual response.

That, and by and large there are so many people who's maturity level has not reached above the level of puberty and you get comments like that.

It's sad, but you just have to work through it and try and help enlighten the new generation.

A friend of mine is on here - she's modeled for DarkMatterZone. She did some posing for some body casts to be displayed a local party called "Love-In", in which a number of girls (models and guests) were hanging out topless, but with very nice airbrushed body painting.

Even in that environment a few felt compelled to tell her "nice tits". So those types WILL say it to the model's face.

Tacky has no bounds. Fortunately they are also the minority.

Once at a clothing-optional hot spring I got into conversation with several women about such things. Apparently even in the naturist community there are those whose vocabulary is more suited to male-only locker rooms. :roll: I asked the women, "What if I were to say you have beautiful breasts?" The consensus was that this was much more positive than the other way. :D
